Refund policy
How cancellations and refunds work for paid Devqueuegrid seats and retainers. This site does not take payment; refunds apply to invoices we have issued and you have paid.
Eligibility
Refunds are available for public cohort seats and Release Room bookings when you cancel in writing before the stated cut-off. Org Watch annual retainers follow a separate schedule below. Complimentary alumni nights have no fee and no refund.
Timeframe
Full refund: written cancellation received at least 14 full days before the first live session (or before recording access is issued for a Bench Seat). Partial refund: cancellation between 13 and 5 days before start. After that window, the fee is non-refundable except where Thai consumer law requires otherwise or we cancel the programme.
Full and partial amounts
Full refund returns 100% of tuition paid for that seat or room. Partial refund returns 50% of tuition. Bank transfer fees charged by your bank are not returned. VAT already remitted is handled according to Thai Revenue Department rules on credit notes; we will issue a credit note where required.
Non-refundable items
Travel you book independently, vendor licences, printed materials you requested beyond the standard PDF pack, and privately catered meals for on-site rooms outside Bangkok. No-shows after the five-day window are non-refundable. Seats removed for conduct under the terms are non-refundable.
Org Watch
Annual retainers may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. Unused Observatory days in the current quarter are refunded pro rata; days already delivered are not. Public cohort seats consumed under the retainer are not unwound.
If we cancel
If faculty illness or a studio closure cancels a programme and we cannot offer a date within 90 days that you accept, you receive a full refund. You may instead transfer the seat to a later cohort at no extra fee.
Process
Email info@devqueuegrid.digital with the invoice number, seat name, and whether you want a refund or a transfer. We confirm eligibility within three working days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned by the same method you paid (usually Thai bank transfer) within 15 working days after we send the confirmation. International wires may take longer depending on correspondent banks. We do not refund in cash at the Surawong office.
Cancellation by substitution
You may substitute another person from the same organisation up to 48 hours before the first session at no fee. That is not a refund; the original invoice stands.
Exceptions
If illness, bereavement, or a documented production incident prevents attendance, write to us. We usually offer a transfer first. Discretionary full refunds in those cases are decided by the studio director and do not create a precedent.
